Q1: Can EL4002 output negative voltage?
A1: No. This module provides unipolar voltage output ranging from 0 to 10V and cannot generate negative voltage. If you need ±10V bipolar output, please choose higher-spec analog output modules such as EL4102.
Q2: Can EL4002 drive motors directly?
A2: No. The EL4002 is a signal-type analog output module with limited output current per channel. It only transmits control signals. To operate motors, you need to connect it with power drive devices like frequency converters and servo drives. It cannot be directly linked to power loads.
Q3: Will the module get damaged if the output is short-circuited?
A3: It will remain intact within the rated protection range. Built-in short-circuit current limiting protection activates automatically when a short circuit occurs. The module will resume normal operation once the fault is fixed, with no need for replacement.
