Eaton HFD3200L Series C F-Frame 3P 200A Molded Case Circuit Breaker

The Eaton HFD3200L is an F-frame molded case circuit breaker from Eaton's Series C platform with a rated current of 200A and factory-fitted thermal-magnetic trip unit, engineered primarily for power distribution environments with high short-circuit currents.

This model is widely used on-site, typically installed inside distribution cabinets or motor control cabinets to provide overload and short-circuit protection. It delivers stable performance under high fault current conditions and is a common choice for the 200A current range.

It is suitable for main feeders in heavy industrial workshops, motor control centers (MCC), large pump stations, and critical power distribution circuits in commercial buildings.

Project Background

This grain deep-processing factory in the US Midwest runs many 200A conveyor motors and large refrigeration systems. Its power system produces high short-circuit current up to 52kA.
