Eaton HFD3225L Series C F-Frame 3P 225A Molded Case Circuit Breaker

Eaton HFD3225L is an F-frame high interrupting capacity molded case circuit breaker from Eaton's Classic Series C platform. It features a 3-pole design with a 225A rated current and a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit as standard. It is primarily designed for low-voltage power distribution systems with medium-to-large capacity loads and relatively high short-circuit levels.

Compared with standard 200A models, the HFD3225L provides a greater current margin, making it suitable for circuits operating close to their load limits or requiring future expansion. It is a commonly preferred option within the 200A–250A range, offering a good balance of reliability and cost-effectiveness.

In practical applications, it is typically installed in distribution panels or motor control cabinets, providing both overload and short-circuit protection for electrical systems.
